Our Story

Founded in 1991 in the world-renowned Napa Valley, Ambrosia helped break new ground in bringing exceptional California wines direct to passionate wine lovers throughout the United States. These one-on-one relationships with passionate wine enthusiasts across the country has given us insight into creating unique collections, gifts, and clubs with highly sought after, world-class wines.
Our Napa Valley location allows us unique access to special wines from our equally passionate friends and neighbors who happen to be some of the finest vintners in the world. Yet, we're a tough group. If our wine consultants don't like it, you won't find it in our cellar. Each and every wine we choose must pass a simple test: Would we be proud to serve it to our friends and family? Would they be thrilled to receive it as a gift? We invite you to share our passion.

You have five wine clubs to chose from which offer everything from wonderful new finds to classic aged Cabernets. Aged Cabernet Connections

Traditionally, wine lovers have needed deep pockets, large cellars, great connections, or all three, to enjoy a perfectly aged Cabernet Sauvignon. Beginning with the 1981 vintage (and every year since), we have offered an incredible collection of ten-year-old Cabernets from Napa and Sonoma's top producers. Our exclusive, continued access to these library wines is an "only at Ambrosia" experience.
